La Peonia is a social cooperative, located in Sassari, whose mission is social inclusion and the promotion of tourism for all. Started up thanks to the economic and project designing effort of its members it pursuits the community general interest in human promotion and in the inclusion of all citizens.
All the activities managed by La Peonia aim to offer job and social inclusion opportunities to individuals risking social exclusion. La Peonia believes in social and participative economy values and aims to connect the values of participation together with business management issues. It operates mainly in the tourist sector, with special attention to services for the youth and for meeting events, as well as offering specific services for very young people and people with disabilities. To all these clients it offers the opportunity to benefit from animation services and social-sanitary assistance services, operating as a public service with high social value.
La Peonia is a member of Consorzio Tir.So. - Tirreno Solidarietà, a consortium of mixed cooperatives linking together organization in Lazio and Sardinia Regions,
and a member of AGCI (General Association of Italian Cooperatives).
